👋 Commendation as an Outstanding Participant in the 4th BK21 program in December 31 2023

Dr. Kyeongnam Kim, a graduate of the Applied Life Science Department at the graduate school, has been selected as an outstanding participant in the 4th stage of the 2023 BK21 Program and received a commendation from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education in South Korea.

This commendation is awarded to individuals who have achieved outstanding results among graduate students and junior researchers participating in the 4th stage of the BK21 Program, with the aim of discovering talents and supporting their growth. A total of 29 individuals, including graduate students and junior researchers, have received this commendation.

The BK21 Project’s Education and Research Team at Kyungpook National University has produced outstanding participants for the third consecutive year.

Dr. Kyeongnam Kim, affiliated with the Education and Research Team for Developing Data-Based Agricultural Production Innovation Technology Personnel, has published a total of 33 SCIE-level papers through various omics techniques applied to research on subterranean pests. Additionally, he has authored 6 papers as the first author in the top 5% of JCR (Journal Citation Reports) publications.

Dr. Kyeongnam Kim has been participating as a graduate student and junior researcher from the 3rd stage of the BK21 Project to the 4th stage, totaling 6 years of participation.
